Patrick Biget, Manager of the R&D Solutions Department, will be present at Smart University 2007 as a speaker.

He will animate a conference entitled “Mobile Application based on SIM/USIM Java Card™ Applet” on September 17th, within Module 1 of the Smart University program.

Module 1 focuses on “Smart Card Software: The Art of Java Card Programming”.

The smart card industry deploys millions of cards every day with embedded Java Card applets and Java Card code. The art of computer programming must therefore be applied to the Java Card platform. This conference aims to deliver a high-level class on programming techniques for Java Card.

The conference will be animated by top smart card programmers, covering all phases in the development of Java Card applets: design, development, test and evaluation. Various tools will be available and experimented during the session.
