Trusted Logic is awarded the first Visa Smart Star
Visa recognizes Trusted Logic as a Smart Star for its contribution to
the enhancement of the features of VSDC, and to the overall Open
Platform systems security.
Trusted Logic is a preferred technology provider that Visa would like
to acknowledge for their contributions to the project described above
as well as many others, which have enabled further growth within the
smart card industry.

Card Providers to benefit from launch of GlobalPlatform Card Compliance Program
GlobalPlatform announces the availability, from 1 May 2002, of the core
components of its Card Compliance Program, including test plan, test
suite, test tool and supporting documentation. GlobalPlatform worked in
conjunction with ICC Solutions to develop and implement these core
components, and had the test suite verified using Trusted Logic's Java
Card / GlobalPlatform Simulator.

integration of the Trusted Logic on-card bytecode verifier
Trusted Logic on-card verifier is the first bytecode verifier embedded
in a smart card, optimized for use on new-generation Java-powered smart
cards to overcome traditional barriers of program size and performance.
SchlumbergerSema is the first to integrate such technology into its
Java-based solutions.

Sun Microsystems Inc. announces a security breach identified by Trusted
Logic in the Java Runtime Environment Bytecode Verifier
The vulnerability in the Bytecode Verifier may be exploited by an
untrusted applet to escalate privileges and thus take the overall
control of a remote workstation. Sun acknowledges Trusted Logic for
bringing this issue to its attention.
