Identity

After successful inroads into the banking industry, the jTOP core has easily been tuned to the Identity and e-Passport segments thanks to its world class flexibility. The necessary contactless protocols (Type-A and Type-B) have been integrated into the Operating System so as to offer an enhanced Java Card™ contactless product, specifically designed to meet the performance requirements of the e-Passport market: with Trusted Logic built-in ICAO LDS applet, the end-to-end display of a 20Kbyte photograph stored in the applet takes less than three and a half seconds over the contactless interface.

The following jTOP ePass card has been designed in partnership with Infineon Technologies and is available in various form factors (wafer, module or inlay). This card has obtained a Common Criteria EAL4+ evaluation, which will be completed later on by an EAL5+ certificate, required for certain markets.
